The ProsBuddy alternative for appliance repair shops that want to own their software
ProsBuddy is a done-for-you marketing agency layered on top of a generic CRM. MeraFix is a vertical SaaS built for appliance repair that includes operations and marketing infrastructure in one platform — you keep your accounts, your data, and your domain.
Why ProsBuddy is a fair choice
We won't pretend they're a bad product. Independent appliance repair shops choose ProsBuddy for three reasons that hold up:
- Seven years focused on home-services marketing — experienced team
- Multi-channel paid ad management under one roof (Google, Meta, TikTok, Bing, Yelp, Thumbtack)
- Done-for-you model fits shops where in-house marketing bandwidth is the bottleneck
- Money-back guarantee on outcome is a publicly stated commitment
Where ProsBuddy leaves money on the table
For appliance-repair-shop owners specifically — not generic home-service operators.
CRM is white-label GoHighLevel — generic, not appliance-specific
Their CRM is a re-branded GoHighLevel workspace. GHL is industry-standard for agencies, but it was designed for generic service businesses — no multi-appliance-per-customer model, no parts inventory by appliance SKU, no appliance-tuned dispatch board, no dedicated field-tech app. Appliance repair workflow lives on top of generic pipelines.
Field operations are not included
ProsBuddy delivers marketing services. You still need separate field service software for dispatch, parts inventory, technician scheduling, and invoicing — typically Housecall Pro, Jobber, or similar — billed in addition to the marketing retainer.
Total monthly outlay is agency-tier
Per-channel ad management retainers stack: each managed paid channel is billed separately, on top of CRM and AI add-ons. For a small shop, the combined retainer plus required ad spend can be a significant share of monthly marketing budget.
Agency-side asset ownership
Campaigns, landing pages, and CRM workflows are configured inside the agency's accounts and workspace. The agency commits publicly that 'you own the assets,' but day-to-day operation, edits, and reporting flow through their team. Switching providers means moving accounts, exporting data, and rebuilding configurations.
Where MeraFix wins
Operations + marketing in one vertical platform
Dispatch, parts, invoicing, customer history, a native iOS technician app, and marketing surfaces (booking widget, SEO landing pages, ads attribution) all live in one product designed for appliance repair. No separate field service tool required.
You own your accounts and your data
Your Google Ads account is in your name, linked to our MCC for tracking. Your Stripe Connect account is in your name. Your vanity domain is yours. Customer + appliance + invoice data exports as CSV on demand. Self-serve sign-up — no sales call needed to see pricing or start.
Auto-generated SEO landing pages at scale
150+ hyperlocal pages per shop, generated automatically across service × city × brand combinations. Each page is grounded in city-level demographics (median income, neighborhoods, ZIP affluence) and ships with JSON-LD structured data. Most agency-built local SEO programs deliver a smaller, manually written set.
Appliance-specific AI phone, not a generic voice agent
Our AI receptionist is configured for appliance terminology, your specific service area, your capacity rules, and your hours — built on a shared state-machine prompt tuned for appliance call patterns. Generic agency AI agents tend to be vertical-agnostic.
Optional Managed Google Ads add-on without forcing a bundle
If you want done-for-you on Google Ads specifically, that's an optional add-on ($399/mo during the launch promo, $499/mo from August 1, 2026; you pay Google directly for ad spend). If you prefer to run ads yourself using our built-in conversion tracking and attribution — included in every plan — you can. The base subscription never forces you to buy managed services.

The honest version:
ProsBuddy and MeraFix are in different categories: ProsBuddy is a marketing agency on top of a generic CRM; MeraFix is a vertical SaaS for appliance repair with marketing infrastructure built in. If your bottleneck is 'I don't have time to run marketing at all and want a team to handle every paid channel,' an agency model fits. If your bottleneck is 'my CRM, dispatch, landing pages, and ad attribution don't talk to each other and I'm paying for too many disconnected tools,' a bundled vertical platform fits.
Run the math for your shop
Typical small shop: 20 missed calls × 50% close × $250 avg = $2,500/mo recovered. At $399/mo (Pro — AI Phone included), that's a 6.3× ROI.

Frequently asked questions
Is MeraFix a marketing agency like ProsBuddy?
No. MeraFix is software — a vertical SaaS for appliance repair that includes marketing infrastructure (landing pages, ads attribution, AI phone) as part of the product. We don't have account managers writing ad copy for you by default. Managed Google Ads is available as an optional add-on if you want done-for-you on that channel.
What about TikTok, Bing, Yelp, or Thumbtack ads?
We don't offer done-for-you management on those channels. You can run them yourself; conversion data flows back through our attribution layer where the platform supports it. Yelp and Thumbtack inbox integration is not currently in the product. If multi-channel done-for-you ad management is your primary need, an agency model fits better than a SaaS.
What does ProsBuddy do better than MeraFix?
Multi-channel done-for-you ad management breadth (Google, Meta, TikTok, Bing, Yelp, Thumbtack), an established multi-year track record, and dedicated account managers writing creative and managing bids. If hands-on agency support across many paid channels is what you need, that's their core competency.
Can I migrate from ProsBuddy to MeraFix?
It depends on how your accounts were set up. If your Google Ads and Meta Ads accounts are in your name (verify with ProsBuddy — sub-account structures vary), you keep those and we link them to our MCC for tracking. Customer data in their CRM can typically be exported as CSV — GoHighLevel supports CSV export — and imported during onboarding. Landing pages built in their system would need to be regenerated in ours (we auto-generate 150+ fresh pages per shop, so this is usually a one-day cutover, not a months-long rebuild).
Why is MeraFix's subscription so much lower than ProsBuddy's retainers?
Different cost structures. ProsBuddy is human-driven services — account managers, designers, PPC specialists. Their pricing reflects payroll. MeraFix is software — auto-generated landing pages cost cents in LLM tokens per shop, the CRM is built once and serves all tenants. Our optional Managed Google Ads add-on carries its own monthly fee specifically because that's the part that requires human time; the rest of the platform is self-serve software.
Do you offer the same 'money-back if we don't 2x bookings' guarantee?
No — we don't offer a money-back guarantee, and fees are non-refundable. We also don't promise specific booking multipliers, because the variables (your market, your existing positioning, ad spend, seasonality) are outside our control. What we do offer: month-to-month billing with no annual commitment, and you keep your own Stripe, Google Ads account and domain — so nothing's locked in and your data exports anytime.
