Account & Data Deletion

This page explains how to delete an account and the personal data associated with it for MeraFix, operated by MeraFlow LLC (South Carolina, United States). It applies to accounts used on the web and in our mobile applications (including the technician app for iOS).
1. Repair-shop staff accounts (admins, dispatchers, technicians)
Staff accounts are created and administered by the repair business you work for — that business is our customer and the controller of data processed in your working relationship. Two ways to delete a staff account:
- Through your shop's admin: the account owner or an administrator can remove your account in Admin → Team. This deactivates the login immediately and removes your access from all devices, including the mobile app.
- Directly from us: email [email protected] from the email address on the account with the subject "Delete my account". We verify the request, notify the account's business where required, and complete deletion within 30 days.
2. What is deleted — and what must be kept
- Deleted: your login credentials, profile (name, personal phone, email), push-notification device tokens, app settings, and en-route location history tied to your account.
- Retained by the business: operational business records you participated in — service jobs, estimates, invoices, payments, warranty history — belong to the repair business and are retained under its own legal, tax, and accounting obligations. Where feasible, your personal identifiers are decoupled from those records upon deletion.
- Backups: residual copies in encrypted backups are purged as backups rotate on our standard schedule after the live data is deleted.
3. Customers of a repair shop (homeowners)
If a repair business used MeraFix to serve you (you booked online, spoke to the shop's AI assistant, or received invoices), that business controls your records — contact the shop directly to request deletion, and we will assist it in fulfilling your request. 4. Marketing leads and demo requests
If you only filled a form on merafix.com (demo request, waitlist, guides), email [email protected] from the same address and we will delete your lead record within 30 days.
