The technician app built for appliance repair
Day plan, job history, photos, e-sign estimates, in-field payments and calls through the shop number — native iOS, so it's fast in a customer's basement, not a laggy web wrapper. Zero per-tech fees.
Real screens, not mockups

Everything a tech needs in the field — nothing they don't
The day, in order
Jobs with time windows, addresses and one-tap navigation — no group texts asking "where am I going next?"
Photos on the job
Before/after shots attach straight to the job record — proof for the customer and for warranty disputes.
E-sign on the spot
Estimates with diagnosis findings, signed on the tech's phone — or sent as a link if the customer isn't home.
Get paid in the field
Card, payment links, cash, check, Zelle — the receipt texts itself and the office sees it instantly.
Calls through the shop line
Techs reach customers without exposing their personal cell — and every call is saved to the job.
Face ID, roles, no leaks
Techs see their own jobs — not your whole customer base. The app locks with Face ID.
"Tech on the way"
The customer gets a live tracking link when the tech heads out — fewer "where are you?" calls.
Pay that computes itself
Commission %, hourly or flat — each tech's payout is calculated automatically from the jobs they close.
What the owner gets out of it
- The customer relationship stays with the shop — techs never carry your customer list on their personal phone, and number masking means clients only ever know your business line.
- Every photo, signature, call and payment lands on the job record the moment it happens — the office dashboard is always the truth, without anyone "reporting in".
- Payroll math disappears: commission, hourly or flat per tech, parts cost deducted before commission, payouts computed automatically.
- Why native matters: field-app instability is the single most consistent complaint about the big-name competitors' apps. A native iOS app is fast, works one-handed, and doesn't melt in a basement with one bar of signal.

Technician app — FAQ
Is the technician app included, or per-tech pricing?
Included. Every MeraFix plan covers the app for all technicians in your tier (Starter 1–3 techs, Team 4–7, Shop 8–12) — no per-seat app fee, no feature gates in the field.
Does it work on Android?
The field app is native iOS (iPhone) today. Techs on Android use the mobile web version — the full job flow runs in the browser. If your whole crew is Android-first, tell us on the demo call and we'll show you exactly what that looks like before you commit.
Do techs see the customer's phone number?
No — and that's deliberate. Techs call and text customers through YOUR shop number (number masking). The customer's contact info and the whole relationship stay with the business, so nothing walks out the door when a tech leaves.
Can techs take payment in the field?
Yes — card and online payment links, plus recording cash, check, and Zelle. The receipt texts itself to the customer seconds after payment, and the job flips to paid in the office dashboard in real time.
How long does it take a tech to learn?
The on-site flow is guided step by step — arrive, diagnose, estimate, e-sign, collect. Most techs run their first real job with it the same day, without a training session.
