HVAC repair software that captures every after-hours emergency call
AC out at 95°F? Furnace dead at 10pm? Our AI phone receptionist books the call into your calendar before the homeowner gives up and dials the next shop.
The HVAC repair & service reality
HVAC is the highest-tension appliance category — when AC fails in July or heat fails in January, the customer doesn't have hours to wait for callback. Speed-to-book is the single biggest factor in winning the job. Conservative estimates: independent HVAC shops lose 20-40% of after-hours calls to voicemail, and ~80% of those go to whoever answers next.
Pain points specific to hvac repair
Generic field-service software treats every call the same. HVACshops know that's wrong.
Emergency calls peak at the worst hours
HVAC failures cluster in evenings, weekends, and during heat/cold waves. Exactly when your dispatcher is off-shift. An AI receptionist that answers in 2 rings, in English, doesn't get overwhelmed during a heat wave.
Capacity vs urgency tradeoff
You'd accept the job — but your techs are slammed. Standard answering services book everything and create no-show pileups. Ours checks live calendar capacity AND your tenant-wide capacity rules before promising a slot.
Service area boundaries matter more in HVAC
Travel time eats margin. A 90-minute drive for a $400 ticket isn't profitable. Our AI verifies the caller's ZIP against your service area before scheduling — declines out-of-area politely with a referral suggestion.
Brand-specific quotes are part of the call
Carrier vs Trane vs Lennox — different parts, different timelines. Our AI captures brand + model + age + symptom upfront, so your tech arrives with the right parts on the truck.

~125 SEO landing pages per shop
Page-1 ranking for 'AC repair [city]', 'furnace repair [city]', 'HVAC emergency [city]' across all service areas.
Spam & vendor call screening
The AI hangs up on robocalls and vendors in seconds — you're only billed for real jobs.
Service plan / membership tracking
Customers on annual plans get priority routing. Built into the CRM.
Google Ads ROAS attribution
HVAC has the highest CPC in home services ($15-30/click). Knowing which $300 click became a $1,200 install is essential.
Run the math for your shop
Typical small shop: 20 missed calls × 50% close × $250 avg = $2,500/mo recovered. At $399/mo (Pro — AI Phone included), that's a 6.3× ROI.

What the ~125 SEO landing pages look like for hvac shops
Auto-generated, hyperlocal, indexed by Google. Examples of what we'd build for your shop's service area:
- 'Emergency AC repair near me' — high-intent, low-competition long-tail
- Service-city × brand combinations ('Trane furnace repair Charlotte NC')
- Seasonal cluster pages ('summer AC checklist for Phoenix homeowners')
- Hyperlocal neighborhood data (median home age = AC system age estimate)
Frequently asked questions
Does MeraFix support load calculations or system sizing?
Not yet — those are install-side calculations, and our default focus is repair / service. If 30%+ of your revenue is install/replacement, you'll want a dedicated install-tool layered on top. We integrate cleanly via CSV.
Can the AI handle a customer demanding same-day emergency service?
Yes. Our prompt is configured for HVAC urgency: if a caller indicates emergency (keywords: 'no AC in heat wave', 'no heat freezing', etc.), the AI offers the next available slot regardless of normal scheduling rules, and texts you immediately. You can configure 'emergency overflow' behavior per shop.
How does the AI handle service-area boundaries?
During onboarding you set your service area by ZIP. When a caller's ZIP falls outside, the AI says 'I'm sorry, we don't service [city] — let me suggest a shop that does' rather than booking a job your tech will refuse on arrival.
Do you integrate with HVAC-specific tools (e.g. Measure Quick, BluOn)?
Not directly yet. If you use field tools that export CSV (most do), our parts and customer DB accepts CSV import. Direct integrations are on roadmap for shops that ask.
